1Introduction

Sevio Inc. ("we," "our," or "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the integrity of your personal and business data. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclosure, and safeguard your information when you access or use our comprehensive SaaS platform, including our Point of Sale (POS), Kitchen Display Systems (KDS), and inventory management tools (collectively, the "Services").

By using our Services, you consent to the data practices described in this policy. If you do not agree with the terms of this privacy policy, please do not access the Services.

2Data Collection

We collect information to provide, secure, and improve our Service. This includes:

  • Business Data: Information about your venue, menus, inventory, staff, and operational workflows. You retain ownership of your core business data; we retain a license to process it to provide the Service.
  • Transaction Data: Details of payments, orders, and sales processed through our system. Note: We do not store raw credit card numbers. All payment processing is offloaded to compliant third-party processors (e.g., Stripe).
  • Device Telemetry: Technical data from the devices you use to access Sevio (IP address, browser type, operating system, crash reports) which helps us debug issues and prevent fraud.

3Usage of Data

We use your data strictly for legitimate business purposes:

Service Delivery

Processing orders, syncing KDS screens, and generating analytics reports.

Security & Fraud

Monitoring for suspicious account activity, API abuse, or unauthorized access attempts.

Platform Improvement

Aggregated, anonymized data is used to train our optimization algorithms and improve system performance.

Legal Compliance

Complying with tax regulations, subpoenas, or valid law enforcement requests.

4Data Ownership & Retention

Your Data: You own your customer lists and menu data. You can export this data at any time via the admin dashboard.

Retention: We retain your data for as long as your account is active. Upon termination, we may retain certain data for up to 90 days for backup recovery purposes, after which it is permanently deleted, except for financial records required by law (e.g., tax audits).

5Disclosure to Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. We disclose data only to:

  • Service Providers: Cloud hosting (AWS), payment processors, and email delivery services—strictly for the purpose of enabling our Service.
  • Legal Authorities: If compelled by law or to protect Sevio's rights and safety.
  • Business Transfers: In the event of a merger, sale, or acquisition of Sevio Inc.
